Hi guys, I was planning on buying one of the new 32inch 4k OLED’s if they ever release in the UK but I see a lot of chatter on here about ultra and super wides.

What are my options?

The PC is 95% gaming, 5% general use.

Is this a pcspecialist system? Can you post your full specs from the order page?

The monitors have been out for a little while now.

What’s you max budget?

Some tasty options there. What would you lean towards in my shoes? I play a bit of everything really. Warzone, Helldivers, POE, Last Epoch, Diablo IV. And a few survival games and mmo’s.

Also, something I didn’t mention, is that I hook up a ps5 to the same monitor. This isnt a priority, and may well be moved downstairs to the TV as the new pc will take centre stage at the desk for sure. Have you guys any idea on how well supported consoles are regarding ultra wide.

I don't believe consoles support ultrawide - but at 3440x1440p the PS5 will put black bars on either side to fill the gap (and on an OLED, they will be truly black - i.e. OFF)...or I believe there's a sort of 'stretch to fit' option too (but I wouldn't recommend scaling that way).

That is VERY nice!

Pity PCS don't offer 140mm fans as that (and mine) would have looked better fully kitted out in all 140mm instead of a mix of 120mm and 140mm.

You've got lots of space on the bottom tray for a huge collection of vinyl figures too ;)

It's not the prettiest but going by that fin array it looks like it will be function-tastic!

The Alienware AW3225QF is very tempting at that price. I quite like that it has EARC aswell. I could share a nice soundbar between the PC and PS5.

I’m going to wait another month or so I think, to let the ASUS, MSI, Gigabye and LG 4K 32’s be more out in the wild for everyday user reviews.
