Hi all, first time building a gaming PC. Any advice on the build I just put together would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if I choose the correct or best components for my budget. I'm hoping to future a proof a little for the parts that would be difficult for me to self install. What should I change or swap? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated l. My max budget is £2500.

I thought your budget was £2500 max? That build is almost £2800.

Plus, what's wrong with the build that SpyderTracks suggested? If you don't give us feedback, or reasons for ignoring suggestions, we cannot offer better suggestions.

• Why a 7950X3D?
• Why 64GB RAM?
• Why a slow, small primary SSD?

Sorry, I assumed you didn’t like the spec posted by SpyderTracks because you‘d posted another build with different components.

The choice between Nvidia or AMD GPUs is dependent on what/how you game. So if you never use ray-tracing or VR, the AMD are better value for money. If you use (or plan to use) RT and/or VR, the Nvidia are the more powerful option for that…but at a price.
